Astra Garage offers a variety of services. We can fix any car realted problem whether it's a small noise to a complete enging rebuild.See below for a list of some of the services we can offer:
Servicing
- Full service
- Renew engine oil, oil filter, air filter, fuel filter, pollen filter, spark plugs.
- Check lights, tyres, under bonnet fluid levels, antifreeze strength, fan belt.
- Lubricate door locks catches, hinges, check operation of wipers ,washers seatbelts etc.
- Check steering, suspension and brake components for wear, deterioration and leakage.
- Remove front wheels, check front brake pads for wear and operation.
- Remove rear wheels dismantle rear brakes, clean, free and adjust.
- Check antifreeze condition.
- Check Battery Condition.
- Check Brake Fluid Water Content.
- Check engine idle speed and emissions.
- Check and top up gearbox and axle oils.
- Check for any fault codes stored in engine ECU (where possible) and report any findings.
- Interim servicing

The purpose of the mot test is to ensure that vehicles over a prescribed age are checked at least once a year to see that they comply with key roadworthiness and environmental requirements.
